At the time of writing (30/7/2001), games saved with TTDPatch, a useful patch for Transport Tycoon Deluxe written by Josef Drexler, may have a different filename or extension system. If this is the case, an update will be provided at the Transport Tycoon Saved Game Manager web site that supports these files properly.

The Manager will work with games saved with the Windows version of TTD. If you try to load a game saved with the Windows version in the DOS version, it won't work. You can use the Manager to make Windows games compatible with the DOS version - select the game (or make a copy of it and select the copy), choose to rename the game, but don't type in a new name - just press OK. The game should now work fine in either the DOS version or the Windows version.
