Error Code Reference
You may receive errors while using the Manager. This topic lists the most common error codes and the (possible) reason behind it:
- Invalid procedure call (Error 5)
If this error occurs, there is a technical problem. Please e-mail me at ttsgm@orudge.freeuk.com with the exact error message, including the Function: line if there is one and a description of what you were doing at the time.
- Subscript out of range (Error 9)
Something has gone wrong inside the Manager and is trying to access part of an array which doesn't exist. Exit the Manager and start it again. If the problem persists, e-mail me (see above for the address) and tell me when the problem occurs. Please attach your FILETYPE.INI file, which can be found in the Transport Tycoon Saved Game Manager directory.
- Error in loading DLL (Error 48)
A DLL cannot be found or is corrupt. Check that MANDLL.DLL and MANSHELL.DLL exist in the Manager directory, and that ZIP32.DLL and UNZIP32.DLL exist in the Windows\System (or Windows\System32) directory. If the problem persists, try removing and reinstalling the Manager, or use the Repair option in Setup.
- Device I/O error (Error 57), Device unavailable (Error 68), Disk not ready (Error 71)
You may be trying to access a floppy disk or CD-ROM, but there is no disk in the drive or it is corrupted.
- Input past end of file (Error 62)
A file, such as URL.INI in the Manager directory or SGMAN.DSC in a compressed saved game, is corrupt. Try reinstalling the Manager. If you can't extract a compressed saved game, use a ZIP program such as WinZip to extract the game from the CSG file.
If you continue to have problems, please e-mail me at ttsgm@orudge.freeuk.com and include a description of what you were doing at the time of the error, and the exact text in the error message.
